NEW SCHEDULE OF RIDES ANNOUNCED.

As we fast approach the end of 2009 you can now look forward to the newly confirmed schedule of rides. There is a full Schedule of Open Group Rides for all abilities and fitness levels. Despite the growing popularity of our rides we will endeavour to keep group sizes smaller so that riders always get the best from the single track and focussed attention when under instruction.

2010 sees our Mountain Bike Skills training go from strength to strength and we'll be offering more skills sessions from Tunnel Hill as well as guided rides for a range of levels. Skills Builder courses are the perfect way to learn to mountain bike or further develop your existing skills allowing you to ride more fluidly, with more confidence and through increasingly more technical terrain.

SKILLS TRAINING ARTICLES FOR NEW MEDIA

In recognition of our ability and because of our growing reputation as a major force in the world of MTB skills training Surrey Hills All Terrain MTB have been invited to write the 'Technique' articles for the worlds fastest growing on-line Bike Mag. International Mountain Bike Mag, ,its free to subscribe and the freshest form of digital media that is going to revolutionise MTB press. We are proud to associated with the Mag and feel that there groudbreaking approach to what they do matches well the way we approach what we do. You'll pick up some great tips that will assist your understanding and development but there is no substitute for experiencing our skills training first hand. Whatever your level of ability our qualified instructors will take your mountain biking to new levels as you learn to understand your bike and how to be master of it rather than be a passenger.

Ladies Only Skills Sessions : These sessions are for Ladies who like the challenge of off road riding but feel more comfortable in an all girl environment. Our aim is to give you the confidence to ride terrain you'd otherwise thought beyond you and build on your skills in an environment free of male bravado and testostorone (which despite belief amonst many men are not the keys to successfull riding).We no woffwer both level 1 & level 2 skills sessions for ladies only

Young Guns sessions : These skills based sessions will set young riders off to a great start. There is no need for pain to be a part of the learning process. Young Guns sessions are delivered in a relaxed fun environment. Riders will be grouped with other youngsters of similar age and ability

BARRY KNOWS BETTER.

One of th most popular trails in the area (if not the country)is reopened having seen a major reworking of the bottom half of the trail. The line that had become established was 'fall line' and subject to major errosion, frankly it had to go. The Hurtwood Control appointed one of the UK's top trial designers and the country's most experienced trail builder, who togethor with some help from the Hurtwood Trail Volunteers have created a trail which we know will rock. Any rider bemoaning the demise of the old last 20 metres will soon be grinning when they have learned to pin the super fast berms and fast flowing trail that is far more in keeping with the upper part of the trail. We are proud to have been involved from the outset of this project and hope that it will be the first of many. The more riders that become 'Friends of the Hurtwood' the better - if you ride he regularly please please join. Mark you application Mountain biker and the landowner and Hrtwood trustees will be able to see that Mountain biking adds value to the area.

WHAT'S IN A NAME

Quite a lot actually! Surrey Hills All Terrain MTB have been trading for coming up for 9 years and have in that time grown organically to become one of the Country's largest and most effective MTB skills training companies. Where we broke new ground inevitably others follow, we dont have a problem with that at all. However a similarity in trading names between our own rather word heavy, original name of Surrey Hills All Terrain Mountain Bike Tours and some newer suppliers might lead to confusion. Please do not confuse us with others of a similar name. If it doesnt say All Terrain...its not the same. We are the only supplier that works with the the knowledge and consent of the Landowner and we are the only operator supported by the 'Surrey Hills AONB'. Further more we are the only MTB Skills trainers who employ only CTC Qualified and Trained Skills Instructors. No others can offer CTC accredited training. To make things easier we will soon be only trading under our assumed name of ALL BIKED UP.
